What data we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email address, shipping address, and payment information. Payment data is processed directly by Stripe — we never store card numbers. We also collect basic analytics (page views, referrers) to improve the site.
How we use your data
We use your data to fulfill your order, send order confirmation and shipping updates, and communicate about your purchase. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except Stripe (payment processing) and Resend (transactional email).
Cookies
We use essential cookies required for the shopping cart and checkout process (Stripe). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. By using this site you consent to essential cookies.
Data retention
Order records are retained for 5 years as required by Norwegian bookkeeping law (Bokføringsloven). You may request deletion of your personal data after this period by contacting us.
Your rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the EU or EEA you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; object to processing; and request data portability. Contact orders@100books.art to exercise these rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
